About

Alice Rogers, also known as the Rogue Crow, is an artist and illustrator based in sunny Worthing. She has always been creative, but it is only in the last year that she has been pursuing art seriously. She is particularly inspired by the natural world, especially birds, and her past as an archaeological researcher also influences her subject matter. She enjoys creating highly detailed work, usually with  dip pens and ink. The unpredictable nature of this medium is what appeals most; the fact that you can never entirely control it. When introducing colour into her work, she favours watercolours. Once again, their uncontrollable nature is what is attractive, but also their luminous qualities and the way you can layer them.

Alice is available to take commissions for personal pieces and happy to discuss undertaking illustration work, especially for non-fiction books.
